Everest Excursion Trekking |
Many trekkers find walk
to walk to Everest better than the destination itself.
The Everest trekking areas offer a visit to the homeland
of Sherpas, a chance to get close to the highest mountain
in the world, as well as the feeling in one that of surrounded
by Peaks. This treks covers moderate to challenging plus
graded treks takes to you to the foot of Mt. Everest traversing
across the high Cho-La pass at an elevation of 5420 meters.
Also included is the opportunity to trek to the summit
of both Gokyo Ri 5,340m and Kala Pattar 5,554m for magnificent
views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu and Cho Oyu.
A visit to Kala Pattar and Everest Base Camp will give
you the chance to have a closer look at the spectacular
Khumbu Icefall. This trek start from Lukla to Lukla as
well as Jiri-Bhandara-Lukla, follow the Khumbu glacier,
first to Lobuche and then to Gorak Shep. Our camp here
gives us the opportunity to ascend Kala Pattar for even
more fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. We
also have a day to visit Everest Base Camp, at the foot
of the Khumbu Icefall. Our descent will then take us to
Dingboche in the Imja valley, before returning to Lukla
via Thyangboche and Namche. A flight back to Kathmandu
concludes a very unique and memorable trek to the roof
of the world. This trip is more convenient to do trekking
in the season spring (March to May) and Autumn (September
to December). Beginners or inexperienced climbers can
take this trek, but this trek requires one to be moderately
fit. Considering the snow conditions over Cho La Pass,
the trek may not be advisable during winter (January &
February) and the monsoon season (July & August). |
