Yala Peak 5,732m
Yala PeakMt Yala trekking peak is located in the Langtang Himal region of Nepal. This climbing peak is one of Nepal’s easier climbing peaks and is often climbed along with its neighbour Naya Kanga. From the summit of Yala Peak you get uninterrupted spectacular views of, Langtang Lirung, Lenpo Gang, Dorje Lakpa (6966m) and the mighty Shishapangma (8013m) which is made up of three sister peaks quite similar in height with two pinnacles with their respective height of 8008m and 7970m sit 200m and 400m to the northwest of the main peak. You also get some amazing views into Tibet.
Day to Day Itinerary for Yala Peak
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu 1,337m and transfer to hotel
Day 02 Kathmandu equipment preparation and sightseeing
Day 03 Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche 8-9hrs 2,030m trek to Syabrubesi 1,460m
Day 04 Trek Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel 2,410m
Day 05 Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley 3,330m
Day 06 Trek Langtang Valley to Kyanjin Gompa 3,730m
Day 07 Rest day at Kyanjing Gompa for exploration
Day 08 Trek Kyanjing Gompa to Yala Peak Base Camp
Day 09 Early morning climb Yala Peak 5,520m after summit back to Kyanjin Gompa
Day 10 Trek Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
Day 11 Trek Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
Day 12 Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu 8-9hrs
Day 15 Rest day at Kathmandu
