Responsible tourism is a new practice in tourism that minimizes negative economic, environmental and social impacts of tourism to local community and environment. It helps generate economic benefit for local people and enhances the well being of local people. Responsible tourism also improves working conditions of workers and involves local people in decisions that affect their lives. The Himalayas are world famous for adventure activities like Trekking in Nepal, Peak Climbing in Nepal, Expedition in Nepal, Tibet Expedition, mountaineering, tour and similar leisure pursuits. It is the world’s richest regions in terms of biodiversity and pristine landscapes. They hold huge potential for nature-based adventure tourism. Adventure Explore Nepal Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd is about respecting and benefiting local people and the environment. This can only be done by learning a little bit about the country, the culture and even a few words of the local language before you arrive. We are more adventurous than "mass tourism" as it requires interaction with local people, staying in small locally owned hotels and sampling some of the delicious local cuisine. Things may not always go to plan but they will certainly be more exciting and at the end of your visit you will feel more fulfilled and informed about the places and people you have visited having experienced a deeper and more real travel experience. We are fully supports the principles of responsible travel and sustainable tourism and has been working hard to show that it is possible to provide an excellent quality service whilst being culturally sensitive, looking after our trekking staff and helping to conserve the environment. In our opinion the only way to improve trekking standards and reduce the impact of tourism on the environment is to provide good quality information, charge a price that is fair and reasonable for the services provided (with no hidden extras) and demonstrate that our company is working towards conservation of the environment and looking after the well-being of those persons who work for Adventure Explore Nepal Treks & Expedition and those communities that we visit as part of our tours.
Our Mission Statement
Adventure Explore Nepal Treks & Expedition recognizes the fact that if tourism is not correctly managed it can have a very negative effect on the local people and culture, the environment and the local and national economy. This is particularly true for a country such as Nepal whose economy depends so much on tourism. It is obviously important to us that you have a great time when you visit Nepal, but this must not be at the expense of our national treasures: our environment and our people. As a professional company we have a duty to act responsibly and to encourage and promote responsible tourism. The emphasis must be on actions right now rather than just a list of things we would like to achieve in the future. Adventure Explore Nepal Treks & Expedition has many economic, environmental and social responsibilities which we have included below in our Responsible Tourism Policy. Our goal is to become Nepal's foremost responsible tour operator, an achievement which in our opinion is very achievable with our determination. However, visitors must also accept their role in helping us to realize this goal. Only if tourists and travel companies work together can we ensure that tourism can really benefit local communities, providing income, positive cultural exchange and a financial incentive to protect the natural environment.
Economic Responsibility
We can develop tourism in ways which reflect the natural, cultural and social integrity of the destination, and which encourage appropriate forms of tourism. Tourism is one of the prevalent industries in world and it is the largest incoming source of foreign currency in Nepal. Tourism also provides economic incentives, promotes wild-life conservation, generates income for park management and brings much needed incomes to the rural populations. It also accepts reasonable business, pay and charge fair prices, and builds partnerships with international companies related to tourism, help to establish friendly and co-related relationship in the field of tourism. Sharing idea with each other allows an opportunity to produce good benefits in tourism. In the other hand, local people gain economic benefits from tourism; helping travelers through their guiding skills, working as porter etc. They are more likely to respond positively and work with tourists and trekkers to protect and manage their natural resource base. Giving business to local people and hotels and buying local products keeps tourist revenue in the local economy. As we send many trekking packages to any regions, we also send wealth, job etc to this reason means bringing wealth into that reason. It provides full and effective participation and possible income-generating opportunities for local people. And it can make a massive profit. In such, an economy, money creates more money and better living standards. If one can managed the tourism policy and managed it properly and catered to the utilization of natural resources to create sustainable income for businesses and individuals. Even for the people working in the tourist industry the benefits come at high costs: long and irregular working hours, minimal job security or seasonal work, and comparably low wages characterize employment in this sector. It also benefits to local hotel owners and tour operators who operates many touring package to the visitors. Tourist money can help sustain indigenous culture, language or religion also. Tourism is vital for many factors, due to the income produced by utilization of goods and services by tourists, the taxes levied on businesses in the tourism industry, and the opportunity for employment in the service industries associated with tourism. These service industries include transportation services such as cruise ships and taxis, accommodation such as hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, and other hospitality industries. All things are benefitted by the tourism.
